The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America’s pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients without prescription drug coverage get free or low-cost medicines through the public or private program that's right for them.

BP Magazine

BP Magazine is published quarterly, and each issue contains a number of excellent articles.  The website features abstracted sections of the magazine, and also contains information on the illness, book recommendations, a newsletter, links to a number of online bipolar communities and more.  It is definitely worth a look.

NAMI of DuPage County

NAMI of DuPage provides education, support, speakers and advocacy on mental health issues.  They also offer a monthly newsletter and access to their library with membership.

The National Institute of Mental Health

The NIMH website offers the latest mental health research, information and news and a wide variety of publications.

Healthsquare
This is a great website for research on medication.  It includes information on dosages, side-effects, manufacturers and photos.  Note:  this is for information only, and should never be used as a alternative to replace contact with your doctor.

The Partnership for Prescription Assistance
The Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps qualifying patients without prescription drug coverage get the medicines they need through the program that is right for them. Many will get their medications free or nearly free.

HFS Medical Programs pay for a wide range of health services provided by thousands of medical providers throughout Illinois to about two million Illinoisans each year.

The DuPage County Mental Health Department
Services that are designed to assist persons with chronic mental illness regardless of their income.

The DuPage Center for Independent Living
The Center provides leadership through training, community development, and advocacy to enable persons with disabilities to fully participate in family, social, and community life.

Social Security Administration
If you are disabled as a result of your illness, cannot work, and your doctor believes you may qualify, you can apply for Social Security disability.
